Where staff at IDS can find mental health support
Letting us know you need support is perfectly normal and we believe all of our community should be able to talk freely about their mental health and wellbeing. If you’re worried about your mental health and wellbeing there are a number of things you can do:
- Talk
- Report
- Get support
Talk
If there’s a manager, or cluster leader, colleague, friend, or family member that you trust, talking things through with them can sometimes help. You can also reach out to our Mental Health First Aiders for a confidential chat.
Contact IDS's Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for a confidential conversation or counselling.
If you are a member of one of IDS's recognised Trade Unions (UCU or Unison) you can contact them to see what support they can provide.
If you are in immediate danger or seriously injured, you can call 999 (or 112 from a mobile).
